Part I: Overview

1. Role Center Management & Dashboard

ใน AX 2009 จะสามารถกำหนด Role Center ของแต่ละ User ได้ เวลา Login ก็จะเห็น KPI Dashboard ในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับตนเอง เช่น CEO, CFO, Production Manager, etc.

การกำหนด Role Center ของแต่ละ User สามารถเข้าไปกำหนดได้ที่เมนู Administrator/Users/Profile

1. การกำหนดเมนูภาษาไทย/อังกฤษ ตามแต่ละ Users

ใน AX 2009 สามารถกำหนดภาษาไทย หรือ ภาษาต่างๆ ให้กับ User ได้จาก Menu User Options

2. การกำหนด Time-Zone ได้หลาย Time-zone ใน 1 database

ใน AX 2009 เมื่อมีการใช้งานในหลายๆ ประเทศที่มีเวลาต่างกัน สามารถกำหนด Time-zone ที่ต่างกันให้แต่ละ User ได้ โดย Database จะเก็บค่าที่เป็น GMT ทำให้ AX 2009 สามารถ Support Multi-time zone per database โดยการ setup ในเมนู User Options

3. AX 2009 Support Workflow บน Windows Workflow Foundation

4. เมนูและหน้าต่าง ต่างๆ ที่เปลี่ยนไป (คล้ายๆ กับ Office 2007 มากขึ้น)

Part II: Financial

1. Fill Utility

เมื่อต้องการ update ฟิลด์เดียวกัน แต่หลายๆ records สามารถใช้ Fill Utility (Multiple edit records) โดยการคลิ๊กขวาฟิลด์ที่ต้องการ update แล้วเลือก record info และเลือก Fill Utility

2. Posting Restriction

สามารถกำหนด Posting Restrictions สำหรับการ Post Journal by User Group หรือ by User ได้

3. Reason Code

ใน AX 2009 สามารถกำหนด reason code แทนการคีย์ transaction text โดยผูกกับ Journal เพื่อให้ manager หรือ Auditor สามารถ trace กลับได้

4. Generated Allocation – Ledger Allocation Rules

AX 2009 สามารถกำหนด Allocation Rules เพื่อ allocate ค่าใช้จ่ายต่างๆ ลงแต่ละผังได้อัตโนมัติ

5. Reversing Entries กลับข้าง Transaction

Reversing entry functionality lets users enter a general journal transaction with a

reversing date. Upon posting the transaction in the general journal the original

transaction is posted based on the transaction date, and the transaction reversal is

posted based on the reversing date.

On earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX, the only reversing entry

functionality served the purpose of correcting or backing out incorrect

transactions.

New to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, reversing entry functionality will provide

transaction reversal for accruals. Accrual type transactions are needed to

accurately reflect balances on financial statements.

6. Budget Revision

สามารถกำหนด Revision ให้กับ Budget ได้

7. Intercompany Eliminations

สามารถทำงานข้าม Company (ใน Database เดียวกัน) ได้มากขึ้น

8. Voucher Template

สามารถกำหนด Voucher Template ได้ตาม Percent หรือ Amount

9. Remit-to Address

สำหรับพิมพ์ที่อยู่บนเช็ค (ประเทศไทยไม่ได้ใช้)

10. Invoice Matching

สามารถทำการ Matching Invoice ใน AP ได้

11. Centralize Payment

สำหรับ Multi-company (ใน Database เดียวกัน) สามารถทำ Centralize Payment ได้ (คล้ายๆ Virtual Company)

12. Centralize Statement

สามารถพิมพ์ Centralize Statement จาก multi-company (ใน Database เดียวกันได้)

13. Print Management

ใน AX 2009 สามารถกำหนด Print Management Level ได้ เช่น กำหนดให้เป็น Original หรือ copy ในแต่ละ Module, ใน PO หรือ Invoice

14. Fixed Asset – มี Fields เพิ่มขึ้น

15. Fixed Asset – Capitalization Threshold

ในกรณีที่ต้องกำหนดค่าเสื่อมสินค้า ที่มีมูลค่ามากกว่าค่าเสื่อมที่กำหนดไว้ เช่น ค่าเสื่อมของอุปกรณ์ด้านเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ สามารถกำหนดได้แล้วใน AX 2009

16. Fixed Asset – Project Module integration ผนวกกับ module project ที่ได้เป็น ทรัพย์สิน

17. Fixed Asset – Transaction Reversal กลับข้าง Transaction

18. Fixed Asset – Auto-create Fixed Asset from PO สร้าง Fixed Asset ผ่านหน้า PO อัตโนมัติ ลับข้าง Transaction
